Low Calorie Protein Oreo Donuts
A recipe for low-calorie, high-protein donuts made with oat flour, Greek yogurt, and protein powder, topped with a yogurt-based frosting and crushed Oreo.
Ingredients
- Oat Flour (blended oats)
- Cocoa Powder
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Natural Sweetener
- Vanilla Yoghurt
- Egg
- Vanilla Extract
- Vanilla Yoghurt
- Cookies & Cream Protein Powder
- Crushed Oreo Biscuit
Method

Add oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and natural sweetener to a bowl.

Mix the dry ingredients together.

Add Greek yogurt and an egg to the bowl.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients.

Add vanilla extract.

Mix until the batter is thick.

Lightly grease a donut baking tray.

Pour the mixture evenly into the donut molds (using a piping bag or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off). The video shows making 6 donuts.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Let the donuts cool for 10 minutes, then flip them out of the tray.

For the frosting: Mix vanilla or plain yogurt with cookies & cream protein powder in a separate bowl.

Coat each donut evenly in the frosting.

Sprinkle one crushed Oreo biscuit across all the donuts.
