Cheesy Beef & Bacon Lasagna
A hearty and flavorful lasagna featuring layers of ground beef, crispy bacon, ricotta, mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses, all baked to golden perfection with marinara sauce.
Ingredients

- ricotta cheese
- mozzarella cheese

Method

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant and softened.

Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes for the flavors to meld.

In a separate bowl, combine the ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the cheddar cheese. Mix well.

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

To assemble the lasagna, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.

Spread a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture over the noodles.

Sprinkle a portion of the chopped crispy bacon over the ricotta layer.

Top with a layer of the meat sauce.

Repeat the layers: noodles, ricotta mixture, bacon, and meat sauce, until you have used all the ingredients, ending with a final layer of meat sauce on top.

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top layer.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
