Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread
A delicious and hearty dish featuring seasoned chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese on crispy garlic bread.
Ingredients
- boneless skinless chicken breast
- smoked paprika powder
- garlic powder
- black pepper
- onion powder
- clarified butter
- salt
- fresh garlic
- butter
- unsweetened heavy whipping cream
- Parmesan cheese
- black pepper
- salt
- unsalted butter
- fresh garlic
- fresh parsley
- salt
- Italian bread
- mozzarella cheese
Method
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Halve the chicken breast lengthwise and pound to an even thickness. Pat the chicken dry.
- 2
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Season the chicken on both sides with this spice mix and salt.
- 3
In a skillet, heat clarified butter or oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 4
Remove the cooked chicken from the pan, let it rest, then slice it into strips and set aside.
- 5
To make the Alfredo sauce, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a clean skillet over medium-low heat. Add the finely minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- 6
Pour in the heavy whipping cream. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 7
Gradually add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook on medium-low heat until the sauce thickens.
- 8
To prepare the garlic butter, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix well until everything is incorporated.
- 9
Cut the loaf of Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- 10
Spread the garlic butter compound evenly over both halves of the bread.
- 11
Spoon a layer of the Alfredo sauce over the garlic butter.
- 12
Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.
- 13
Arrange the sliced chicken on top of the cheese.
- 14
Drizzle a little more Alfredo sauce over the chicken.
- 15
Place the assembled garlic bread on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted and golden.
- 16
Slice the bread and serve warm, with any leftover Alfredo sauce for dipping.
