Chicken Sesame Noodles
Chicken sesame noodles for the week is a happy week :)
Ingredients
- chicken breast
- Salt
- soy sauce
- sesame oil
- chili oil
- sugar
- Black pepper
- noodles

- dark soy sauce
- light soy sauce

Method

Bring a pot of water to a boil. Season the water with salt.

Place the chicken breast into the boiling water and poach for about 8 minutes.

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pot and let it cool.

Shred the cooled chicken breast into a bowl.

Season the shredded chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, chili oil, sugar, and black pepper.

Mix the chicken and seasonings by hand until the chicken is well-dressed.

In a separate pot of boiling water, cook your noodles until al dente. After cooking, rinse them under cold water.

To prepare the sauce, combine sesame paste, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl.

Mix the sauce ingredients thoroughly until smooth and well combined.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled noodles with the prepared sauce.

Toss the noodles and sauce together until the noodles are fully coated.

To serve, place a portion of the sauced noodles into a bowl.

Top the noodles with the seasoned shredded chicken.

Garnish with optional toppings like crushed peanuts, sliced cucumbers, cilantro, and an extra drizzle of chili oil.
