Easy Homemade Bagels

In a measuring cup, combine 1.5 cups of warm water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 packet of active dry yeast.

Stir the mixture and let it sit for 10 minutes until a layer of foam forms on top.

In a large mixing bowl, add 4 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 tablespoon of salt.

Pour the yeast mixture into the flour.

Using a stand mixer with a dough hook, knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it forms a smooth ball.
