Filet Mignon Root Beer Chili
This Filet Mignon Root Beer Chili packs some flavor.
Ingredients
- Barq's Root Beer
- Goya Small Red Beans
- Ground beef
- Onion
- Garlic
- Tomatoes (Roma)
- Jalapeño
- Dan-O's Taco Seasoning
- Swanson Beef Stock (unsalted)
- Ketchup
- Dan-O's Chili Lime Seasoning

Method

Add some oil to a large pot over heat.

Dice the onion and add it to the pot.

Add 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic to the pot with the onions.

Add 0.5 kg of ground beef to the pot with the onions and garlic, and break it up with a spatula.

Dice the Roma tomatoes and the jalapeño.

Add the diced tomatoes and jalapeño to the pot with the cooking ground beef. Stir everything together.

Add about 0.5 cup of Dan-O's Taco Seasoning to the pot. Stir to combine.

Open one can of Barq's Root Beer and pour it into the pot.

Open one carton of Swanson Unsalted Beef Stock and pour it into the pot.

Open one can of Goya Small Red Beans (not drained) and add them to the pot. Stir well.

Add approximately 0.5 cup of ketchup to the chili for a hint of sweetness. Stir.

Add the cubed filet mignon to the chili. Stir everything together.
