Healthy Biryani-Style Chicken Curry
A healthy and easy Biryani-style chicken curry, perfect for a balanced meal.
Ingredients

- 0% fat Greek yogurt
- extra virgin olive oil
- white rice
- onion
- tomato
- green chili pepper
- garlic
- ginger
- Biryani spices
- salt
- black pepper
- cumin
- paprika
- tomato paste
- warm water
- cilantro
Method

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and sauté until it begins to soften.

Add the green chili, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are no longer pink.

Add the biryani spices, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to coat the chicken.

Add the chopped tomato and cook until it starts to break down.

Stir in the tomato paste. Let the mixture simmer and thicken for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the warm water and stir.

In a separate bowl, whisk 65g of the Greek yogurt until smooth.

Add the whisked yogurt to the pan and immediately stir quickly to combine everything and prevent curdling.
