One-Pan Creamy Herb and Tomato Pasta
Here is a delicious one-pan pasta dish that's ready in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients
- fettuccine
- cherry tomatoes
- garlic
- red onion
- chicken broth
- tomato sauce
- heavy cream
- Parmesan cheese
- fresh basil leaves
- dried oregano
- red pepper flakes
- olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
Method
- 1
Arrange the nests of uncooked fettuccine in a single layer in a large, wide pan or skillet.
- 2
Add the halved cherry tomatoes to one side of the pan.
- 3
Place the fresh basil leaves next to the pasta.
- 4
Add the sliced red onion next to the basil.
- 5
Spoon the tomato sauce over the pasta nests.
- 6
Scatter the sliced garlic over the pasta.
- 7
Sprinkle the oregano and red pepper flakes over all the ingredients.
- 8
Season generously with freshly ground black pepper.
- 9
Drizzle everything with olive oil.
- 10
Pour in the heavy cream, followed by the chicken or vegetable broth.
- 11
Cover the pan with a lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed into a creamy sauce.
- 12
Uncover the pan and stir everything together to combine.
- 13
Season with salt to taste.
- 14
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top and stir until it's melted and incorporated into the sauce.
- 15
Serve immediately, straight from the pan.
