- mushrooms
- Italian seasoning
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic
- pizza sauce
- pepperoni slices
- bacon
- fusilli pasta
- mozzarella cheese
Method
- 1
Place the ground beef into a large, oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2
Add the diced onions to the skillet with the beef and begin to brown.
- 3
Once the meat is partially cooked, add the sliced mushrooms.
- 4
Season the meat mixture with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- 5
Add the minced garlic and stir everything together, cooking for a few more seconds until the garlic is fragrant.
- 6
Drain the excess grease from the skillet.
- 7
Pour in two jars of pizza sauce.
- 8
Add about half of the pepperoni slices and all of the crumbled bacon to the sauce. Stir to combine.
- 9
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until it's fully coated in the meat sauce.
- 10
Top the pasta with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 11
Arrange the remaining pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- 12
Sprinkle any leftover cooked ground beef and bacon bits over the top.
- 13
Place the skillet in an oven preheated to 3500F (1750C).
- 14
Bake for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- 15
Carefully remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve.
