Tomato and Mozzarella Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • bowl pasta
  • bowl onions
  • bowl mushrooms
  • bowl red peppers
  • bowl cherry tomatoes
  • garlic
  • Italian herbs
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • chili flakes
  • passata
  • hot water
  • mozzarella

Method

    Pour cooked pasta into a glass baking dish.

    Add chopped onions, mushrooms, red peppers, and cherry tomatoes.

    Add lazy garlic, Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

    Pour over the passata and hot water.

    Stir everything together until well combined.

    Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.

    Place in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) and bake for 30 minutes.

    Carefully remove the dish from the oven and take off the foil.

    Tear the fresh mozzarella into pieces and arrange them on top of the pasta bake.

    Cover the dish with foil again.

    Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes.

    Remove the pasta bake from the oven.

    Let it cool slightly before serving.
